About the role

We are hiring for the position of SEO Specialist professionalto join our team who will be responsible for managing all search engine optimization and marketing activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. You will also manage all SEM campaigns on Google, Yahoo, and Bing in order to maximize ROI.

What You Need for this Position:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in SEO optimization and website performance enhancement.
• Strong knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
• Expertise in using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Screaming Frog.
• Understanding of ranking factors, search engine algorithms, and strategies for improving SERPs.
• Experience in keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Knowledge of content creation strategies aligned with SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Matomo).
• Basic working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to analyze data to make informed decisions and implement optimizations.
• Up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, Google updates, and best practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Conduct thorough keyword research to guide content creators and develop effective SEO strategies.
• Analyze site analytics and performance metrics to track progress and identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop and implement on-page SEO improvements, including metadata optimization, URL structure, and internal linking.
• Optimize content for target keywords to enhance visibility and rankings.
• Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues affecting crawlability, site speed, mobile usability, and more.
• Execute off-page SEO strategies, including backlink acquisition and relationship building.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure proper implementation of SEO best practices in website updates and new developments.
• Work with the content and marketing teams to align SEO strategies with content marketing efforts.
• Monitor and analyze competitor websites and trends to stay ahead in the SEO landscape.
• Prepare detailed performance reports showcasing traffic growth, ranking improvements, and other key metrics.
• Ensure compliance with search engine guidelines to avoid penalties and maintain a strong online reputation.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Mohali, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
