Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Public Relations Executive role based in Puducherry. The Public Relations Executive will manage day-to-day media interactions, draft and distribute press releases, and coordinate with journalists, influencers, and media outlets to secure coverage for clients and the agency. Responsibilities include developing and executing PR campaigns, preparing briefing documents and talking points, and supporting events, product launches, and announcements. The role also involves monitoring media coverage, managing online reputation, tracking PR performance, and preparing regular reports and insights. The Public Relations Executive will collaborate closely with internal marketing, content, and design teams to ensure consistent messaging across digital and offline channels.

Qualifications

• Strong Public Relations and Media Relations skills, including experience building and maintaining relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers.
• Proficiency in Writing and Press Releases, with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and newsworthy content tailored to different media formats.
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and represent clients and the agency professionally.
• Ability to plan and execute PR campaigns, manage timelines, and coordinate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with digital marketing, social media platforms, and online reputation management tools is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in an agency environment or in handling PR for startups or SMEs is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-focused approach to tasks and client needs.
