Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations in the CHA (Custom House Agent) industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle complete accounting activities from start to finalization.
• Manage and supervise the accounts team.
• Prepare and finalize financial statements and reports.
• Ensure timely GST return filing and GST compliance.
• Handle Income Tax Return (ITR) filing and related compliance.
• Prepare and submit statutory filings, challans, and other regulatory documents.
• Perform bank reconciliations, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the CHA, logistics, freight forwarding, or import-export industry.
• Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
