Description

Release and Renew Mental Wellness (RRMW) is seeking a dynamic and community-driven Community Relations Specialist to expand our presence across Baltimore and surrounding regions. This role focuses on building meaningful partnerships, increasing access to behavioral health services, and strengthening community engagement.

The ideal candidate is passionate about mental health advocacy, outreach, and connecting individuals and organizations to quality care. This position requires consistent in-person engagement, collaboration with community stakeholders, and strategic relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive growth by generating new referral sources and strategic partnerships
• Attend and represent RRMW at community events, meetings, and outreach initiatives
• Build relationships with schools, healthcare providers, community organizations, and faith-based groups
• Implement communication strategies to ensure timely follow-up on referrals and inquiries
• Plan and execute outreach events to increase visibility and engagement
• Track leads, referrals, and outreach activities using CRM systems and scheduling tools
• Maintain consistent communication with partners and stakeholders
• Conduct follow-ups to improve referral conversion and client engagement
• Collaborate with leadership to identify new opportunities for expansion and impact

Performance Expectations (KPI-Driven)

• Increase referral connections by 15–20% through outreach efforts
• Maintain 90%+ engagement in assigned meetings and events
• Track outreach and referrals with 90% accuracy
• Participate in quarterly outreach initiatives and events
• Support measurable growth in community awareness and service utilization

Community Engagement & Outreach

• Identify and develop new community partnerships
• Strengthen relationships with existing referral sources
• Represent RRMW in professional and community settings
• Promote mental health awareness and access to care
• Support initiatives that improve engagement in underserved populations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Communications, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
• Experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or community outreach preferred
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable with in-person outreach and public engagement

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation

• $35,000 – $45,000 annually (based on experience)
• Internship opportunity available for MSW Year 1 students
