Junior Software Developer – GIS Domain

We are looking for a motivated and technically strong junior software developer to join our growing GIS team. The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of software development experience, a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), and proficiency in Java, Python, or .NET technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain software applications in the GIS/geospatial domain.
• Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code following OOP principles.
• Work with databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Learn and adapt to new technologies, programming languages, and GIS platforms.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in Java, Python, or .NET development.
• Good knowledge of SQL databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Willingness to learn GIS technologies and geospatial concepts.

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to GIS platforms or spatial data technologies such as GE Smallworld, ArcGIS, QGIS, or GeoServer.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
