Power Plant Manager

Power Plant Manager opportunity located approximately 1 hour from the Washington DC area. This vital position leads operations at a combined-cycle facility, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant performance. Candidates must have a demonstrated leadership background in combined-cycle operations. This position is bonus eligible, client offers excellent benefits and relocation assistance is available.

responsibilities

• Oversee all daily operations, maintenance functions, and staff development for the combined-cycle facility to ensure safe, reliable, and economical performance.
• Maintain strict compliance with environmental permits, NERC standards, safety protocols, and all regulatory reporting requirements.
• Manage facility financial health by preparing annual budgets, executing operating plans, overseeing purchasing, and delivering variance reports.
• Act as the primary interface for the facility owner, fostering good working relationships and ensuring all Operations and Maintenance agreement conditions are fulfilled.
• Lead outage planning, recommend strategic plant upgrades backed by cost-benefit analysis, and optimize overall plant performance. #randstadengineering
