Job Description
Associate Attorney – Real Estate & Title Litigation (Maryland)
We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join a multi-state law firm supporting financial institutions, mortgage servicers, and other institutional clients. This role focuses on litigated title curative matters, foreclosure-related litigation, and mortgage servicing disputes.
📌 Requirements
- Active Maryland Bar license (required)
- JD from an accredited law school
- 1+ year of litigation experience preferred (real estate, title, foreclosure, or mortgage servicing exposure a plus)
🔍 What You’ll Do
- Manage a caseload of title curative and real estate litigation matters
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and related litigation documents
- Conduct legal research on statutes, case law, foreclosure, and title issues
- Support bankruptcy-related filings and litigation support work
- Collaborate with attorneys and internal teams on case strategy and execution
- Attend hearings, mediations, and (based on experience) depositions
