Job Description

Our client is a non-profit organization with a great mission behind them! They are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive administrative professional to support their CEO. This Administrative Assistant needs to have 4+ years of administrative management/planning, communication, and meeting management experience. This is a fully on site opportunity located in Alexandria, VA (free parking on site). This is a temporary opportunity that will last at least until June 12th (depending on performance and department needs, there is potential for extension and/or a permanent role for the right individual). salary: $24 - $28 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 9 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

  • Maintains and coordinates the CEO’s meeting schedule, managing calendars, related correspondence, meeting details and logistics.
  • Coordinates events and executive meetings.
  • Inbox and time management, proactively resolving all scheduling issues with emotional intelligence.
  • Maintains and organizes Executive Office files and records.
  • Collaborates across departments to manage projects and ensure efficiency.
  • Functions as the CEO's initial point of contact.
  • Maintains and monitors the CEO email box; forwards and drafts responses as appropriate and follows up to ensure timely responses.
  • Manage the CEO’s contact list, agenda, process lags, networking gaps, and assist actively with funder relationship cultivation.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned.
