- **Network Monitoring:** Continuously monitor the network using network monitoring tools to ensure uptime and performance. Identify and resolve issues proactively.
- **Incident Management:** Respond to service-related incidents, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to minimize downtime.
- **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of network configurations, incidents, changes, and performance metrics.
- **Collaboration:** Work closely with the IT support team, system administrators, and other departments to ensure network alignment with organizational goals.
- **Disaster Recovery:** Assist in developing and implementing network disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.
- **Reporting:** Provide regular reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements.
**Skills and Qualifications:**
- **Technical Skills:** Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.), operating systems (Linux, Windows Server), and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
- **Network Monitoring Tools:** Familiarity with tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG for real-time network monitoring.
- **Security Awareness:** Knowledge of network security best practices, including VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).
- **Troubleshooting:** Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve network-related issues quickly and efficiently.
- **Communication Skills:** Ability to clearly document and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
