ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a seasoned digital media professional to lead and grow our 360 Digital Marketing business unit from the front. This is not a management-by-committee role it is a builder's role. The ideal candidate has been the driving force behind mandates in past organisations, has a proven track record of generating business, and is now ready to own something entirely with the full backing of the organisation and the freedom to shape the unit in their vision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Development & Revenue Ownership:

  • Own the P&L of the Digital Marketing Business Unit end-to-end
  • Proactively identify, pitch, and acquire new clients across industries
  • Build and nurture a robust pipeline through personal network, partnerships, and outreach
  • Drive revenue targets through organic growth as well as strategic inorganic plays

Campaign Strategy & Execution:

  • Lead strategy and oversight across organic campaigns (SEO, content marketing, community, PR)
  • Direct inorganic/paid media campaigns SEM, programmatic, social media advertising, influencer marketing
  • Ensure integrated, data-led execution that delivers measurable ROI for clients
  • Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes, industry trends, and emerging channels

CEO / CXO Thought Leadership Positioning:

  • Craft and execute personal branding and thought leadership strategies for C-suite executives
  • Develop content calendars, LinkedIn positioning, speaking engagements, media placements, and whitepapers
  • Build executive visibility programs that translate to brand equity and business value for clients

Team Building & Leadership:

  • Recruit, mentor, and build a high-performance digital marketing team from scratch
  • Create a culture of accountability, innovation, and client-centricity within the BU
  • Set clear KPIs, review performance, and coach team members to grow

Client Management & Retention:

  • Act as the senior point of contact and trusted advisor for key client relationships
  • Ensure client satisfaction, retention, and upsell/cross-sell across service lines
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and client engagements

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

What You've Done:

  • 14-18 years of experience in digital media, with at least 5 years in a leadership or P&L role
  • Demonstrated ability to independently win and grow client mandates
  • Deep hands-on expertise in both organic and paid/ inorganic digital campaigns
  • Successfully built or scaled a business unit, practice, or agency vertical
  • Track record of positioning senior executives (CEO/CXO/Founders) as thought leaders
