Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) Developer – Jetpack Compose (Junior/Mid-Level)

About the Role

We are looking for a Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) Developer with hands-on experience in Jetpack Compose to build scalable, high-performance cross-platform applications. You will work on shared business logic and modern UI development for Android and potentially iOS/Web platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-platform applications using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP)
• Build modern, responsive UI using Jetpack Compose
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
• Collaborate with backend teams to integrate APIs (REST/GraphQL)
• Implement MVVM or Clean Architecture in mobile applications
• Optimize app performance, memory usage, and responsiveness
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
• Debug and fix issues across different platforms

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Kotlin programming language
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) projects
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose for UI development
• Understanding of MVVM / Clean Architecture
• Experience with Coroutines and Flow for asynchronous programming
• Knowledge of REST API integration
• Familiarity with Git version control

Good to Have

• Exposure to Ktor for networking
• Experience with Compose Multiplatform
• Basic understanding of iOS integration (KMP)
• Knowledge of Dependency Injection (Koin / Hilt)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
