Software Engineer - Network Engineer ( systems )

Job Overview

We are seeking a Systems Engineer with strong software development expertise and a solid foundation in networking technologies to join a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. This is a hands-on role within a cross-functional environment focused on building, maintaining, and improving large-scale infrastructure and technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain network automation infrastructure
• Work on end-to-end project lifecycles — from requirements gathering to delivery
• Conduct research and development to evaluate new technologies
• Troubleshoot and resolve production application and data issues within defined timelines
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Build and maintain automation tools to enhance network engineering efficiency
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for operational issues
• Improve observability, configurability, and supportability of systems
• Upgrade and redesign infrastructure for better performance and stability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience, preferably in networking
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as:
• Python
• Java
• Golang

Solid understanding of:

• Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Enterprise development frameworks and stacks
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing:
• Scalable and reliable network automation systemsStrong troubleshooting skills with
• systems and diagnostic tools
• Deep understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP stack)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Skills

• Experience in SRE or infrastructure engineering environments
• Exposure to automation, monitoring, and observability tools
• Ability to work in high-performance, production-critical environments
