About the Role
Prospect Infosystem LLP is looking for a detail-oriented Analytics Specialist with 4+ years of experience to join our team in Hyderabad. You will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, building dashboards and reports, and supporting data-driven decision-making for internal stakeholders and clients. This role requires a strong blend of analytical thinking, technical skills, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for stakeholders and clients
- Partner with business and client teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into analytics solutions
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases
- Develop and maintain ETL/data pipelines to ensure accurate and timely data availability
- Perform statistical analysis to support business decisions and validate hypotheses
- Monitor key business metrics and KPIs, flagging anomalies or significant trends proactively
- Create clear, well-structured presentations and reports summarizing analytical findings
- Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and governance
- Support ad-hoc data requests and deep-dive analyses across departments or client accounts
- Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to reporting tools, processes, and data infrastructure
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data privacy standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related analytical role
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets
- Hands-on experience with BI/visualization tools: Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Solid skills in Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros)
- Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and automation
- Experience with statistical analysis and interpreting quantitative data
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar)
- Understanding of ETL processes and data pipeline fundamentals
- Ability to translate business questions into structured analytical approaches
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with large, messy, or unstructured datasets
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Familiarity with version control (Git) for analytics code and scripts
- Exposure to A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
- Knowledge of data modeling and dimensional modeling concepts
- Experience working in a client-facing or services-based delivery environment
- Relevant certifications (Power BI, Tableau, Google Data Analytics, etc.)
Education: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
