As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will include providing insightful financial analysis, developing budgets, and conducting variance analysis to support business operations. Collaborating closely with stakeholders across departments, you will provide them with the financial insights needed to achieve their goals, impacting resource allocation, profitability, and sustainable growth directly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop annual budgets and forecasts by collaborating with department heads, analyzing historical data, and market trends, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis, comparing actual results against budget and forecast, identifying key drivers of performance, and providing actionable insights to management.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations summarizing key financial data and trends, communicating findings to stakeholders, and supporting informed decision-making.
- Analyze financial performance by evaluating key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement, and recommending strategies to enhance profitability and efficiency.
- Support strategic initiatives by providing financial modeling and analysis, evaluating investment opportunities, and assessing the financial impact of business decisions.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability in performing in-depth financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Proven ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools, such as Excel and financial planning software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A Chartered Accountant in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
