Program Managers:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Program Manager for a 12 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Program Managers - Job Description:

The project involves managing multiple technology initiatives within a large banking institution. The Program Manager will oversee distinct programs with high risk exposure, ensuring alignment with business and enterprise strategies.

Program Managers - Responsibilities:

• Indirectly manage program teams consisting of Business Analysts, Business SMEs, and technology resources.
• Engage executive sponsors, senior leadership, and stakeholders to ensure efficient program delivery.
• Establish effective program oversight and governance structures.
• Communicate program status and changes to key stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on best practices in program management.
• Deliver program outcomes aligned with cost, timing, deliverable, and scope objectives.
• Manage program financials, including generating cost estimates and monthly reporting.

Program Managers - Mandatory Skills:

• 10+ years of Program Management experience.
• Experience leading teams of Project Managers.
• Experience with large multi-million dollar technology projects.
• Experience with compliance to internal governance standards.
• Big bank experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Executive stakeholder management.

Program Managers – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience using MS Office suite, Jira, Confluence, and Clarity.
• Prior Banking/FI experience.
• PMP and/or Scaled Agile certifications.
• Regulatory delivery experience.
• Complex data project experience.

Program Managers – Assignment Length:

This is a 12 month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days onsite and 3 days work from home, transitioning to 4 days onsite and 1 day work from home.
