Salesforce Administrator Contractor (Marketing, Sales & Client Success Systems)
On behalf of our client, Procom is seeking to engage a hands-on Salesforce Administrator for a 6-month contract. This role with help to stabilize and improve our client’s Salesforce foundation, tighten marketing attribution and lead lifecycle reporting, and enable scaled engagement capture (email/calendar, webinars, intent signals) that supports renewals, pipeline, and client health. This role partners closely with Marketing Ops, Sales Ops, Finance, and Client Success to translate the roadmap into executable configuration, clean data, and durable processes.
Key responsibilities
- Run-the-business foundation: validate contract data quality and linkage to Accounts/Products; implement and document a sustainable contract management process with Finance ownership.
- Renewals workflow: build automated renewal Opportunity creation (e.g., 24 months out), standardize renewal stages/required fields/ownership, and maintain renewal dashboards (upcoming, in-progress, at-risk).
- Executive-ready reporting: build and maintain dashboards for renewals, sales performance trending (YoY/MoM), and marketing-to-sales funnel visibility used in monthly operating rhythms.
- Marketing data integrity: validate and standardize Pardot/Account Engagement Salesforce lead sync (lifecycle stage, source, product interest); audit and correct lead source + campaign attribution logic for reliable multi-touch reporting.
- Engagement visibility: ensure key engagement activities (forms, email clicks, content, meetings, webinars) are consistently visible and reportable on Lead/Contact records; standardize Campaign Member Statuses across channels.
- Engagement capture at scale: troubleshoot and roll out Outlook email/calendar integration (e.g., EAC/Outlook Integration) to client-facing teams; ensure engagement data supports Client Health and Renewal Readiness; support call recording integration and activity association (Gong planned).
- Campaign-to-revenue measurement: enable multi-touch campaign influence tied to Opportunities; support campaign-to-pipeline and campaign-to-revenue reporting by product/solution.
- Integrations & intent signals: integrate Zoom webinars; surface high-intent signals (e.g., Demandbase + web activity) and configure role-based visibility for dashboards and alerts.
- Governance & optimization: define data ownership/system-of-record rules; identify and retire low-value custom fields/automation/reports; contribute to an intake and prioritization process across Marketing, Sales, and Client Success.
Required Experience
- 5+ years as a Salesforce Administrator (or equivalent hands-on admin experience), owning configuration end-to-end in a production org.
- Deep proficiency with Salesforce core admin capabilities: security model, objects/fields, page layouts, validation rules, flows/automation, reports/dashboards, and change management.
- Demonstrated experience improving CRM data quality and designing durable processes with cross-functional stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Client Success).
- Strong reporting and analytics orientation: ability to build executive-ready dashboards and define/standardize funnel, lifecycle, and attribution fields.
- Experience administering marketing-to-Sales workflows in Salesforce, including Campaigns/Campaign Members, lead management, and opportunity influence concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Account Engagement (Pardot) sync configuration and troubleshooting (or equivalent marketing automation + Salesforce integration).
- Experience implementing and supporting CRM integrations, including Outlook email/calendar (EAC/Outlook Integration), webinar platforms, and call recording tools (e.g., Gong), including requirements gathering, testing, rollout, and support.
- Ability to deliver light development as needed (e.g., Apex/Lightning Web Components), while prioritizing admin-first solutions where appropriate.
- Clear written documentation and training capability (SOPs, field definitions, enablement sessions) to transfer ownership to internal teams.
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201) and/or Advanced Administrator.
- Experience with renewal motions/subscription contract data models and renewal forecasting dashboards.
- Experience with Zoom webinar integration, Demandbase (or similar ABM/intent), and Gong (or similar conversation intelligence) implementations.
- Comfort working in a scaled B2B go-to-market environment with multi-touch attribution and campaign influence reporting needs.
Engagement Details
- Contract length: 6 months (with potential extension based on roadmap progress).
- Estimated weekly hours: 40 hours/week.
- Working model: remote or hybrid; available during normal U.S. business hours with primary stakeholder overlap in Central Time.
- Operating cadence: weekly working sessions + documented backlog/prioritization; bi-weekly readout on delivery, risks, and dependencies.
- Success looks like: automated renewal opportunities live; contract data validated and Finance-enabled; reliable Pardot Salesforce sync; standardized campaign member statuses; marketing & renewal dashboards adopted; email/calendar + webinar engagement captured and reportable; multi-touch influence reporting operational.
