Developer/Technical Support/Application Support - Senior

Procom is searching for a Developer/Technical Support/Application Support - Senior for a 12 month contract role.. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

Developer/Technical Support/Application Support - Senior - Job Description:

IT Client Engagement and Solutions require a Senior full stack Developer to design, develop, test and deploy online (web, mobile) solutions primarily within the transportation portfolio. The role involves collaboration with IT resources, business clients, vendors, and other internal/external stakeholders to complete assigned development tasks.

Developer/Technical Support/Application Support - Senior - Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical analysis and develop UI design
  • Conduct software development and unit testing
  • Fix defects and perform software deployment testing
  • Prepare and maintain documentation
  • Ensure all deliverables meet development and quality standards

Developer/Technical Support/Application Support - Senior - Mandatory Skills:

  • Eight (8+) years designing, developing, testing, and deploying n-tier online solutions
  • Five (5+) years experience with web and mobile frameworks such as Backbone.js, AngularJS, and JQuery
  • Five (5+) years experience with C#, Visual Studio, Javascript / JQuery
  • Five (5+) years experience with REST web services
  • Five (5+) years experience using SQL with Oracle or other relational databases
  • One (1+) years experience using copilot and templates
  • React is an essential skill requirement

Developer/Technical Support/Application Support - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • The ability to mentor other developers
  • Experience in UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience) design discipline
  • Previous experience integrating systems via Tibco web services
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally with personnel at all levels

This is a contract position for approx 12 months.
