Applications Developer - Databricks Migration:

On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for an Applications Developer - Databricks Migration for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Applications Developer - Databricks Migration - Job Description:

You will be working on a high-visibility migration initiative aimed at modernizing ETL workflows and re-platforming legacy pipelines. The project involves migrating existing Informatica workflows to Azure Databricks and supporting ongoing SaaS integrations.

Applications Developer - Databricks Migration - Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze existing Informatica mappings, workflows, and dependencies
• Redesign and rebuild pipelines using Databricks notebooks and Azure components
• Support ongoing SaaS integrations, including file feeds, SSO, and vendor integrations
• Ensure scalability, data quality, and secure implementation during the migration

Applications Developer - Databricks Migration - Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ Years Data Bricks experience
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Informatica Development
• 5+ years working with Oracle and SQL (data extraction and batch processing)
• 5+ years of Unix Scripting (file movement and extract generation)
• 5+ years of experience with Autosys (job scheduling)
• Experience with Azure Cloud technologies

Applications Developer - Databricks Migration – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Strong experience with Informatica, Autosys, and Azure
• ETL expertise, particularly with Informatica

Applications Developer - Databricks Migration – Assignment Length:

This is a 6-month contract position with the potential for extension.
