Stockroom Assistant
Shift/Hours: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17.75 - $21.00 per hour
Location: Severn, MD

Job duties:
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality before labeling and storing materials in designated locations.
- Maintain organized and clean stockroom areas to ensure ease of access, a safe working environment, and optimal workflow.
- Perform regular inventory and cycle counts, while assisting with the reconciliation of any stock discrepancies.
- Issue materials to production or other departments as requested, tracking stock levels to notify supervisors of replenishment needs.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently while updating digital inventory records.
Requirements include:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse, stockroom, or inventory-related role is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency, with experience using inventory management or ERP systems considered a major plus.
- Strong attention to detail, robust organizational skills, good communication skills, and a team-oriented attitude.
- Possession of a forklift certification is highly preferred or considered a plus for this role.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work stationary for long periods of time, and precisely perform repetitive material handling tasks.
