Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join a dynamic production team! This role is essential for assembling high-quality products that meet rigorous standards by ensuring precision in every step of the process. The ideal candidate enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced environment and possesses a solid understanding of both electrical and mechanical assembly.
Location: Stafford, VA
Compensation: $22.00-$24.00/hr DOE
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies based on blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Perform electrical wiring and product testing to ensure full functionality and quality.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect components and finished products for defects to ensure they meet quality control standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and teammates to resolve assembly issues and improve internal processes.
- Assist with troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning units as needed.
- Document assembly procedures, modifications, and quality checks to ensure full traceability.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following all company guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills
- 3 years of experience in assembling electro-mechanical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly processes and techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and various testing equipment.
- Excellent manual dexterity and the ability to work with small components.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic computer skills for documenting tasks and tracking assembly progress.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
