Underwriter

We are seeking a seasoned and results-driven Sr. Manager – Underwriting to join our Mumbai office on a payroll basis, reporting directly to the CEO, Mr. Uday Jadhav. This senior role requires a candidate between 30 and 45 years of age with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, Hindi, and local languages. The ideal candidate must possess an in-depth understanding of terms and conditions across Property, Liability, and Health insurance, along with a fair knowledge of Life insurance and proficiency in premium calculations for Fire and Engineering policies. Key responsibilities include preparing RFQs, client presentations, and placement slips, as well as negotiating with insurance companies to finalize deals. Preference will be given to candidates with strong existing connections among PSU and private sector placement officials. The successful applicant must be proactive in communicating with internal and external stakeholders and willing to visit client or insurance company locations as the job demands. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate's experience and caliber.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
