Role Overview

The Delivery Lead will oversee end-to-end delivery of technical, digital, and AI-driven projects within the Pharma and Life Sciences domain. This role ensures that all solutions meet business objectives, regulatory expectations, and client requirements while driving team performance, operational excellence, and continuous innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Lead complete project lifecycle from initiation to deployment and hypercare.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, and governance.
• Deliver AI/GenAI, data, analytics, digital platform, and clinical/regulatory IT projects to business expectations.
• Drive adherence to PMO standards, Agile/SAFe practices, and GxP/non-GxP compliance.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as primary point of contact for business stakeholders, IT leaders, and cross-functional partners.
• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes clearly and proactively.
• Align AI and digital solutions with R&D, clinical, regulatory, pharmacovigilance, and commercial stakeholders.
• Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction.

Team Leadership

• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams including developers, data engineers, data scientists, QA, analysts, and UX.
• Mentor team members, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure high delivery performance, capability development, and knowledge sharing.

AI & Digital Delivery

• Drive identification, evaluation, and delivery of AI/GenAI use cases across drug development, clinical operations, PV, and supporting functions.
• Partner with AI/ML, data engineering, and product teams to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions.
• Oversee model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring within pharma compliance frameworks.
• Support adoption of AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, automation workflows, and predictive analytics.
• Lead data modernization initiatives using platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, or Qlik.

Risk & Compliance Management

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including data quality, AI accuracy, model drift, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure alignment with GxP, data integrity, audit, and security standards.
• Implement structured risk mitigation plans and change-control processes.

Strategic Collaboration

• Partner with senior leadership to define technology and AI transformation priorities.
• Contribute to long-term planning, capability development, and digital strategy.
• Drive organizational growth through operational excellence, cost optimization, and scalable delivery frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10-18 years of experience in technical delivery, digital transformation, or program management.
• Experience delivering AI/GenAI, analytics, or data engineering projects (no deep coding required).
• Strong understanding of pharma/clinical/regulatory systems and processes.
• Proficiency in Agile, SAFe, Scrum, and standard PMO methodologies.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage large portfolios.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, Qlik, or similar.
• Background in Pharma R&D, Clinical Operations, PV, Regulatory, or Life Sciences IT.
• Understanding of AI governance, model validation, and pharma compliance frameworks (GxP, audit trail, data integrity).
• PMP, PSM, or equivalent certifications are an advantage.
