Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
- Process monthly payroll accurately and within stipulated timelines.
- Verify attendance, leave records, overtime, incentives, reimbursements, and deductions.
- Generate payroll reports, salary statements, payslips, and MIS reports.
- Coordinate with the Finance team for salary disbursement and payroll accounting.
- Manage Full & Final (F&F) settlements for employees leaving the organization.
- Handle employee queries related to salary, taxation, deductions, and payroll processes.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of payroll records and employee data.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations.
- Handle Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESIC), Professional Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), Bonus, Gratuity, and other statutory compliances.
- Prepare and submit statutory returns, challans, and related documentation within prescribed timelines.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and compliance documentation.
- Liaise with government authorities, auditors, consultants, and inspectors as required.
- Monitor changes in labour laws and ensure timely implementation of regulatory updates.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain employee personnel files and statutory documents.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and reports.
- Ensure timely renewal and maintenance of statutory registrations, licenses, and certificates.
- Prepare periodic compliance reports and management dashboards.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of HR policies and compliance procedures.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field
.
Required Experience
- 3–7 years of relevant experience in Payroll Processing and Statutory Compliance
- Hands-on experience in managing PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, and Labour Law compliance
- Experience handling payroll for medium to large-sized organization
- Experience in statutory audits, compliance reporting, and labor law documentation
- Working knowledge of payroll software and HRMS platforms.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and payroll management systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
