Job Description
Automotive Technician
- Pothier Motors is growing and seeking a full-time Automotive Technician to join our team! Apprentices are welcome (3rd year or higher)
REQUIREMENTS
- Automotive Journeyman License or 3rd-year Apprentice or higher
- Dealer experience is considered an asset
- General mechanical skill
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Knowledgeable of technology and use of computer tools
- In-depth knowledge and background in technical diagnosis and repairs
- Organized and knows how to keep the shop looking presentable
- Ability to meet tight deadlines with attention to detail
- Excellent analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Previous Chrysler experience (preferred, not required)
- You must have your own tools
- Strong integrity
- Driver's license
- No criminal record
PAY
- $20/hr to $25/hr straight time + performance bonuses (apprentices earn less) – Negotiable and based on experience and skill level.
- Two weeks' vacation after 1st year
License/Certification:
- Canadian Drivers' License (required)
- Registered Automotive Apprentice (3rd year or higher)
- Canadian Automotive Journeyman Ticket (preferred but not required)
- Dealership Warranty Training Level (Chrysler training preferred)
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driver's abstract (Required)
