What you’ll do:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key contributor to our core product, responsible for both technical leadership and hands-on development. You'll be building and enhancing our core services, which handle over a billion API calls a month. This role requires you to be a versatile full-stack developer who can contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle, from architectural design to implementation and ongoing maintenance.
Your Responsibilities:
- Full-Stack Development: Build and enhance services using Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and React.
- API Development: Iterate on REST APIs that handle over one billion requests monthly, ensuring they are robust and scalable.
- Customer & Operational Support: Bridge the gap between our customers and the engineering team. This includes debugging customer issues, identifying root causes, and developing internal tools to streamline operations like user management and reviews.
- Product Collaboration: Contribute to product design, optimizing user experiences and workflows. You will also plan features and estimate complexity in collaboration with the product management team.
- Customer Advocacy: Manage a portfolio of key clients, identify risks, and create retention plans. You'll advocate for customer needs internally to address product concerns and improve retention.

Minimum Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a full-stack software engineer, building both front-end and back-end solutions.
- Strong expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and React.
- Proven experience with architectural design, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in testing frameworks like Jest and Vitest.
- A proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
