As a Design Engineering Manager, your role involves overseeing day-to-day operations of multiple Design and Engineering projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and budgets. Your responsibilities include: - Leading operational oversight across various projects, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams - Developing and implementing operational strategies, systems, and procedures for project delivery excellence - Managing design execution, progress, and project deliverables - Involvement in proposals, Pre-bid Resource & Team Management, and resource allocation - Collaborating with department leads to ensure adequate staffing and skills across projects - Supporting recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and team development initiatives - Assisting in estimate/budget preparation, forecasting, and cost monitoring - Identifying operational risks and implementing cost-control measures - Driving continuous improvement in operational practices, tools, and workflows - Ensuring compliance with client specifications, regulatory standards, and internal policies - Facilitating audits, inspections, and internal reviews - Serving as a focal point of contact for key clients and stakeholders Your technical skills should include a strong understanding of the project lifecycle in Design and Engineering projects, familiarity with project management tools, and excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
