Senior Mining Operations Superintendent

Our client is seeking a seasoned and results-oriented Senior Mining Operations Superintendent for their operations near Indore, Madhya Pradesh, IN . This is a demanding on-site role requiring strong leadership and a deep understanding of safe and efficient mining practices. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily mining operations, ensuring that production targets are met while adhering to the highest standards of safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency. Your duties will include managing and mentoring a diverse workforce, including geologists, engineers, and mine workers; planning and scheduling mining activities; and overseeing the operation and maintenance of mining equipment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in open-pit or underground mining operations, a comprehensive knowledge of geological processes, and a thorough understanding of mine planning and design. Proven leadership skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to health and safety regulations are essential. You will be responsible for implementing best practices in resource extraction, managing operational budgets, and ensuring compliance with all relevant permits and legislation. Experience with mine management software and a strong understanding of mine ventilation, ground control, and dewatering systems are highly desirable.
