Lead Production Supervisor

Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing firm, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Production Supervisor to oversee operations at their facility in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, IN . This crucial role demands strong leadership qualities, exceptional organizational skills, and a deep understanding of manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for managing daily production activities, ensuring efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and supervising a team of production staff. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate the activities of production line workers to ensure smooth and efficient operation. Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards, safety regulations, and production schedules. Train new employees on production procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation. Assign tasks to production staff and monitor their performance. Identify and resolve production issues and bottlenecks in a timely manner. Implement and enforce all company policies and procedures, including safety and housekeeping standards. Maintain accurate production records and reports, including output, scrap, and downtime. Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and supply chain teams to optimize production flow. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide updates, and address concerns. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement. Ensure efficient use of materials and resources to minimize waste. Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing production environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Proven experience in overseeing production operations and managing a team. Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, quality control systems, and lean manufacturing concepts. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to troubleshoot production problems and implement effective solutions. Proficiency in using production management software or ERP systems is desirable. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work flexible hours if needed to meet production demands. Experience in the specific industry of our client is an advantage.
