Senior Field Service Technician - Renewable Energy Systems

Key Responsibilities:

Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of solar panels, inverters, wind turbines, and associated control systems. Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and efficiency. Respond to service calls and troubleshoot equipment failures in a timely and effective manner. Maintain accurate service records, including work performed, parts used, and time spent. Provide technical training and mentorship to junior field service technicians. Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree or vocational training in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Field Service Technician, preferably in the renewable energy sector. Strong proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including reading schematics and using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment. Hands-on experience with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and/or wind turbine technology. Knowledge of AC/DC power systems, control systems, and network communications.
