Senior Curriculum Developer (STEM)

Our client, a forward-thinking educational institution in Patna, Bihar, IN , is looking for an innovative and experienced Senior Curriculum Developer with a specialization in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and revise STEM curricula for various grade levels, ensuring alignment with educational standards and learning objectives. Create comprehensive lesson plans, learning materials, assessments, and instructional resources. Incorporate best practices in instructional design, pedagogy, and educational technology into curriculum development. Collaborate with teachers, subject matter experts, and educational consultants to gather input and feedback. Develop strategies for integrating hands-on activities, project-based learning, and inquiry-based approaches within STEM subjects. Conduct pilot programs and evaluate the effectiveness of developed curricula, making necessary adjustments. Provide training and professional development opportunities for educators on new curriculum implementation. Stay informed about current trends and innovations in STEM education and educational technology. Ensure that curricula are inclusive, equitable, and accessible to all students. Manage curriculum development projects, including timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, a STEM field, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or teaching, with a significant focus on STEM subjects. Proven experience in developing curriculum frameworks, learning objectives, and assessment strategies. Strong understanding of educational psychology, learning theories, and pedagogical approaches. Familiarity with national and international STEM education standards. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly. Proficiency in using educational technology tools and learning management systems (LMS). Strong project management and organizational abilities. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams of educators and stakeholders.
