Our client, a progressive agricultural enterprise, is seeking an experienced Lead Agronomist to spearhead initiatives in sustainable farming practices. This pivotal role will involve overseeing all aspects of crop science and soil health management across our diverse agricultural operations. The Lead Agronomist will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative strategies to enhance yield, improve crop quality, and minimize environmental impact. Key responsibilities include conducting soil analysis, recommending tailored fertilization and irrigation programs, and managing pest and disease control measures using integrated pest management (IPM) principles. This position requires a strong understanding of agronomic principles, plant physiology, and soil science. The Lead Agronomist will mentor and guide a team of agricultural technicians and junior agronomists, fostering a culture of scientific inquiry and continuous improvement.
