Senior Aviation Maintenance Technician

Our client, a prominent player in the aviation industry, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Aviation Maintenance Technician to join their state-of-the-art facility in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, IN . This critical role involves performing comprehensive maintenance, inspection, and repair of aircraft systems and components to ensure airworthiness and operational safety. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of aircraft mechanics, electrical systems, and avionics, coupled with a strong commitment to quality and safety standards. You will work on a variety of aircraft types, applying advanced troubleshooting techniques and utilizing specialized tools and equipment. Key Responsibilities:

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various aircraft types according to technical manuals and regulatory requirements. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and avionics issues. Service, repair, and replace aircraft components and systems, including engines, landing gear, hydraulics, and avionics. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance performed, including parts used and time spent. Ensure compliance with all FAA/DGCA regulations and company safety policies. Operate specialized diagnostic equipment and ground support tools. Participate in quality control checks and audits. Assist in the training and mentoring of junior maintenance technicians. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or vocational degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology or a related field preferred. Valid DGCA AME License with relevant endorsements, or equivalent international certification. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an Aviation Maintenance Technician. Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex aircraft systems. Extensive knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, regulations, and safety protocols. Familiarity with various aircraft models and manufacturers. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Physical ability to work in demanding environments, including confined spaces and heights. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
