Senior Agronomist - Sustainable Farming Practices

We are seeking an experienced Senior Agronomist to join our team in **Hyderabad, Telangana, IN**. This role will involve providing expert advice on crop management, soil health, pest control, and the implementation of innovative agricultural technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Agronomy or a related field, extensive practical experience in field operations, and a passion for sustainable agriculture. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive agronomic plans for various crops, focusing on yield optimization and resource efficiency. Conduct soil analysis and provide recommendations for fertilization, irrigation, and land management. Advise farmers on pest and disease management strategies, promoting integrated pest management (IPM) techniques. Research and evaluate new agricultural technologies, seeds, and inputs for their suitability and effectiveness. Educate farmers and agricultural stakeholders on best practices in sustainable agriculture, including organic farming and conservation tillage. Monitor crop health and growth, identifying potential issues and recommending timely interventions. Collect and analyze data on crop performance, weather patterns, and soil conditions to inform decision-making. Collaborate with research institutions and government bodies to stay updated on the latest agricultural advancements and regulations. Prepare technical reports, field trial results, and recommendations for management. Participate in workshops and training sessions to disseminate knowledge and best practices within the farming community. Qualifications:

Master's degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Agriculture, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in agronomy and crop management, preferably in the Telangana region. In-depth knowledge of Indian agricultural practices, soil types, and climate conditions. Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainable farming strategies. Strong understanding of plant physiology, soil chemistry, and entomology. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and observational skills. Effective communication and training abilities to work with diverse farming communities. Familiarity with agricultural research methodologies and data analysis.
