Online Curriculum Developer (Higher Education)

Our client, a prestigious educational institution, is seeking an innovative and experienced Online Curriculum Developer to join their faculty in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, IN . This role is pivotal in designing, developing, and implementing engaging and effective online courses for higher education programs. You will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and technology specialists to create high-quality digital learning experiences that meet rigorous academic standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong pedagogical background, a deep understanding of online learning principles, and proficiency in various learning management systems (LMS) and multimedia development tools. Your expertise will shape the future of online education for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with SMEs to define learning objectives and design course content for online delivery. Develop engaging instructional materials, including lectures, readings, assignments, assessments, and interactive activities. Utilize authoring tools and multimedia technologies to create rich learning content (videos, simulations, graphics). Configure and manage courses within the institution's Learning Management System (LMS). Ensure all online courses adhere to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and quality benchmarks. Develop and implement effective online assessment strategies. Provide support and training to faculty on online teaching methodologies and LMS usage. Evaluate and revise online courses based on student feedback, performance data, and pedagogical best practices. Stay current with trends and innovations in online education and instructional design. Manage multiple curriculum development projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and institutional guidelines. We are looking for a creative thinker with a passion for education and a proven ability to translate complex subjects into accessible and effective online learning modules. A Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field is required, along with significant experience in curriculum development for higher education, preferably in an online or blended learning environment. Strong project management, communication, and collaboration skills are essential for working effectively with diverse teams in a campus-based setting.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in online curriculum development for higher education. Proficiency with major Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard, Canvas). Experience with instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM). Familiarity with multimedia development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia). Strong understanding of adult learning principles and online pedagogy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven project management and organizational abilities. Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1). Experience in faculty training and support.
