Our client, a leading pharmaceutical company, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to join their team in Victoria, British Columbia, CA , focusing on the critical area of Oncology. This field-based role requires building strong relationships with healthcare professionals, including physicians, oncologists, and pharmacists, to promote innovative therapeutic solutions. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed territory sales targets for oncology products. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key healthcare providers (HCPs) within the assigned territory. Effectively communicate the clinical benefits, features, and value proposition of oncology products through persuasive presentations and discussions. Educate HCPs on the latest clinical data, research findings, and treatment guidelines related to oncology. Identify and understand the unique needs and challenges of physicians and their patients to tailor product recommendations. Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and healthcare policy changes affecting the oncology market. Attend relevant medical conferences, symposia, and industry events to expand professional networks and enhance product knowledge. Manage territory expenses effectively and adhere to all company policies and ethical guidelines. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and medical affairs, to support sales efforts and provide market insights. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence using the company's CRM system. Provide exceptional service and support to HCPs and their staff.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science, Pharmacy, Business, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 3-5 years of successful pharmaceutical sales experience, preferably with a focus on specialty care or oncology. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales quotas. Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, drug discovery, and clinical trial processes. Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish credibility with healthcare professionals. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to develop effective territory plans. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel within the assigned territory. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Passion for improving patient lives through innovative medical treatments.
