Our client, an internationally acclaimed luxury hotel chain, is seeking a highly creative and experienced Executive Chef to lead culinary operations at one of their flagship properties. This is a prestigious opportunity for a culinary artist passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences that define luxury hospitality. The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu development, food preparation, inventory management, staff training, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation. You will lead a talented team of sous chefs, line cooks, and pastry chefs, inspiring them to achieve culinary excellence. A deep understanding of diverse cuisines, modern culinary techniques, and food cost management is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in high-end restaurants or luxury hotels, with exceptional leadership and organizational skills. You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple outlets, and consistently deliver innovative and exquisite dishes that delight discerning guests.

Key Responsibilities: Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating. Develop creative and seasonally appropriate menus for all hotel dining outlets (restaurants, banquets, room service). Manage food and labor costs effectively to meet budgetary goals. Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP). Maintain inventory control, order supplies, and manage vendor relationships. Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Director to create exceptional guest dining experiences. Implement and maintain high standards for food quality, presentation, and consistency. Conduct regular kitchen inspections and implement corrective actions as needed. Stay current with culinary trends, techniques, and innovations. Manage kitchen scheduling and staffing levels to meet operational needs. Develop special menus for events, conferences, and private functions.

Required Qualifications: Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification. Minimum of 10 years of progressive culinary experience, with at least 5 years in an Executive Chef or Executive Sous Chef role in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment. Extensive knowledge of global cuisines, culinary techniques, and presentation styles. Proven experience in menu engineering and food cost management. Strong leadership, team-building, and motivational skills. Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and sanitation practices. Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. Creative flair and passion for developing innovative dishes. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment. Proficiency in kitchen management software is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
