Lead Industrial Engineer

Our client, a prominent manufacturing firm, is seeking an experienced and innovative Lead Industrial Engineer to spearhead operational efficiency improvements at their facility in **Bhubaneswar, Odisha, IN**. This role is crucial for optimizing production processes, enhancing productivity, and reducing waste through systematic analysis and implementation of engineering principles. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and process simulation.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and implementation of improved manufacturing processes and systems. Analyze production workflows, identify bottlenecks, and develop solutions to enhance efficiency and throughput. Apply lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Develop and maintain production standards, performance metrics, and reporting systems. Conduct time and motion studies to optimize labor utilization and workflow. Collaborate with production, quality control, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations. Utilize simulation software to model and test process changes before implementation. Oversee and mentor a team of industrial engineers and technicians. Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines for process improvement projects. Ensure adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards in all operational activities. Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices in industrial engineering. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on findings, recommendations, and project outcomes. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline. A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in industrial engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Proven expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred), and Kaizen methodologies. Strong proficiency in process mapping, simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic), and statistical analysis tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams. Experience with CAD software and an understanding of manufacturing technologies.
