Our client, a leading aviation services provider, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to oversee maintenance operations at their facility in **Chandigarh, Chandigarh, IN**. This role requires a deep understanding of aircraft systems, stringent safety protocols, and effective team leadership. You will be responsible for ensuring that all aircraft maintenance activities are performed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This position involves direct supervision of aircraft mechanics and technicians, coordinating maintenance schedules, and managing resources to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and direct the work of aircraft mechanics and technicians performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs on various aircraft types. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with aviation regulations (e.g., DGCA), manufacturer specifications, and company policies. Develop and manage maintenance schedules to optimize aircraft availability and minimize downtime. Oversee the inspection and troubleshooting of aircraft systems, including engines, airframes, avionics, and electrical systems. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all maintenance performed, including logbook entries and work orders. Manage the inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage. Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development for maintenance staff. Investigate maintenance discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Promote a strong safety culture, ensuring adherence to all safety procedures and protocols. Coordinate with flight operations and other departments to address maintenance needs and operational disruptions. Manage tools, equipment, and facilities, ensuring they are in good working order and properly calibrated. Stay current with the latest aviation technologies, maintenance techniques, and regulatory changes. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license or equivalent certification, along with significant hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance. Proven supervisory or leadership experience in an aviation maintenance environment is essential. A strong understanding of aircraft systems, troubleshooting methodologies, and aviation regulations is required. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are necessary. The ability to work effectively under pressure and make critical decisions is vital. A commitment to safety and quality excellence is paramount.
