What do you need to do? (Role and Responsibilities)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Jr DOP to assist our video production team in capturing high-quality visuals for digital content, shoots, and interviews. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced content production environment while working closely with experienced cinematographers, directors, and editors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the DOP and camera team during video shoots, including setting up lights, cameras, and equipment.
• Help operate camera gear under supervision (e.g., DSLR, mirrorless, cinema cameras).
• Ensure proper lighting and framing during shoots.
• Handle equipment logistics before and after shoots.
• Support the team in scouting shoot locations and preparing the shooting floor.
• Maintain and organize camera and lighting equipment.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in cinematography, lighting techniques, and gear.
• Collaborate with the production and post-production teams to achieve the desired visual style.

Requirements

• A degree/diploma in Film, Media, Mass Communication, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of camera operations, lighting, and visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with tools like DSLR/mirrorless cameras, gimbals, tripods, reflectors, etc.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, and willing to work on-set across various shoot formats.
• A keen eye for detail, composition, and lighting.
• Strong interest in cinematography and visual production.
