As an Account Manager, your role involves developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. You will be the primary point of contact and build long-term relationships with customers through various communication channels. Your responsibilities include:
- Helping customers through email, phone, online presentations, screen-share, and in-person meetings
- Developing a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors
- Ensuring the timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Communicating progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecasting and tracking key account metrics
- Keeping current clients satisfied and delivering exceptional client service on a day-to-day basis
- Working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new clients and develop existing client relationships
- Liaising between the customer and internal teams
- Onboarding resources for client projects
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Proven account management or relevant experience
- Ability to communicate, present, and influence at all levels of the organization
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Understanding of Managed services & Fixed price projects in IT services
- Knowledge of project delivery, contracts, and working with UK clients
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field or equivalent work experience
- Deep digital understanding
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a results-driven environment
- Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and ability to prioritize tasks
- Understanding of mobile app development, website development, marketing, measurement & analytics, content management, and internet technology
- Strong time and project management skills with a focus on process improvement
- Keen attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and help desk support software
