Job Overview

Philopateer Christian College is a growing private Christian school in Mississauga offering the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) both in-person and online. We are seeking passionate and experienced Senior English, Senior Mathematics, and Senior Science teachers to join our secondary team for the September 2026 school year. We are looking for educators who are committed to academic excellence, strong classroom leadership, and the development of well-rounded students grounded in faith, discipline, and service.

Position Overview

Full-time secondary teaching positions in one of the following subject areas:

• Senior English (Grades 9–12)
• Senior Mathematics (Grades 9–12)
• Senior Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics – Grades 9–12)

Qualifications

• Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification or equivalent international certification
• Undergraduate degree in teachable subject area (BEd preferred)
• Experience teaching senior high school courses (Grades 9–12)
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to plan, assess, and deliver curriculum aligned with the Ontario Ministry of Education
• Commitment to collaboration, extracurricular involvement, and school life Preferred Assets
• Experience teaching within a Canadian school setting
• Experience working in a Christian educational environment
• Ability to integrate faith, character development, and leadership into the classroom
• Experience with online platforms (Edsby, Google Classroom, or similar) is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 per year
