<div class="content-intro"><p><em>PharmaCann, Inc. owns and operates best-in-class production facilities and retail dispensaries for cannabis-based products. We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. We are looking for energetic, results-driven individuals to join our rapidly growing team and industry.</em></p></div><p><strong>Purpose</strong></p>
<p>This position is responsible for supervising and instructing the Packaging department with effective leadership and coordination to achieve the weekly objective to package the dried flower through a variety of formats, utilizing different tools and machinery, labeling and organizing, and other post harvest related tasks. The Supervisor of Packaging role must lead and participate in their job with professionalism and safety, consistently. The Supervisor of Packaging will report to the Manager of Post-Harvest, and while working in cohesion with the other Post Harvest departments to achieve most effective trimming, drying, curing, and packaging results.</p>
<p>Salary for this role is $53,000/year</p>
<p><strong>Essential Duties</strong></p>
<p><strong>Leadership Procedures & Tasks</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure the proper execution for all aspects of the department including supervision of the employees, cadence and pace of the production, proper packaging and labeling, maintenance of the automated machinery, and consistent quality control.</li>
<li>Assist with providing effective leadership to employees to ensure a complete understanding of and alignment to PharmaCann’s vision, mission and values to maintain a positive work environment and a high level of morale. Ensure effective and appropriate communication with team members and</li>
<li>Cure department staff to increase team unity and operative flow.</li>
<li>Ensure all compliance requirements are met including facilitation of the immediate adjustment of practices to accommodate the dynamic changes that regularly occur.</li>
<li>Ensuring all staff are following company defined protocols. Enforce all company policies and</li>
<li>Assist in establishing initial and ongoing training for employees to ensure an adequate level of understanding regarding guidelines, policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Support the Manager of Post Harvest with assigning and directing work, examining performance and conducting evaluations, coaching, supervising, disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving employee issues. Monitor employee attendance, time off balances, time off requests, and all other attendance related processes.</li>
<li>Assist with projects, including defining project scope, resources and achieving deliverables on time and within budget.</li>
<li>Clear understanding of workflow throughout the cultivation facility.</li>
<li>Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager of Post Harvest.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Training Requirements</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>This position will follow the direction and training by the Manager of Post Harvest assigned to the Lothian, MD cultivation facility. The role is expected to engage in proactive participation to be able to clearly lead to achieve the high standard cultivation practices, consistently and compliant.</li>
<li>Training towards PharmaCann’s mission statement and leadership development.</li>
<li>Understanding how to compliantly operate within the cultivation based on the state laws and regulations</li>
<li>Workspace and Material Maintenance</li>
<li>Plan and carry out through the support of the Manager of Post Harvest to guide and train Post</li>
<li>Harvest members to maintain proper organization of areas in use.</li>
<li>Ensure upkeep and maintenance of the machinery through participation, practice, training, guiding, and disciplining accordingly to achieve.</li>
<li>Support the communication and reporting of product concerns with leadership of Post Harvest from proper awareness of organization and analysis.</li>
<li>Ensuring that sufficient supplies for the Packaging department are ordered and available.</li>
<li>Coordinate procuring proper supplies and equipment, with recurring purchasing alignment with the</li>
<li>Supply Chain department for essential replenishments towards workflow.</li>
<li>Provide direction and support to associates with a safe, well maintained, and organized work area.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Compliance and Reporting</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Supervise and instruct the Packaging department staff in upholding current laws and regulation towards the cultivation facility. Adapt to updated laws and regulations to implement safe and effective practices to sustain highest quality standards and efficiencies.</li>
<li>Oversee and support the organizing and securing of all METRC tags and harvest batches.</li>
<li>Support the Manager of Post Harvest with updating and tracking all required information in the</li>
<li>Packaging department logs and spreadsheets daily.</li>
<li>Supervise the Packaging department staff in training and coordinate to ensure compliance with completing objectives. Coach, discipline, and analyze with staff to maintain compliant practices and</li>
<li>Any compliance or safety mistake or error created must be addressed, reported, and</li>
<li>Communication with appropriate leadership to ensure resolution.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Supervision</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Works under the direct supervision of the Manager of Post Harvest.</li>
<li>This position is responsible for the supervision and directing of the Cure department for the Lothian,</li>
<li>MD cultivation facility. Supervising staff, including hiring and developing, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining, addressing complaints and resolving employee issues.</li>
<li>Ensure that individual and team performance meets PharmaCann’s standards of service and quality.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Job Requirement</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>This position is expected to be available as needed to adhere to the responsibilities within and throughout the job description.</li>

<p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Able to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.</li>
<li>Able to move about a typical office, manufacturing and warehouse environment. Working with the cannabis plant, breaking it down by hand and scissors. Potentially working with machinery to trim, sort, and package cannabis product.</li>
<li>Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily.</li>
<li>Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.</li>
<li>Consistent on-time attendance for all scheduled shifts. Prepared for 40 hour work weeks within this position, with occasional overtime.</li>
<li>Occasional travel by motor vehicle within the region as required.</li>

<p><strong>Job Qualifications</strong></p>
<p><strong>Work Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Preferred at least 1 year employment with PharmaCann to apply.</li>
<li>Preferred at least 1 years experience in a commercial cannabis operation.</li>
<li>Preferred at least 1 year of prior leadership experience to apply.</li>
<li>Experience working in a fast-paced production environment required. Experience supervising small teams is preferred.</li>
<li>Demonstrates ability to consistently achieve productivity and performance requirements. Shows the capability to handle multiple tasks at once under tight deadlines.</li>
<li>Demonstrates high attention to detail and the ability to resolve conflict and complex issues.</li>
<li>Demonstrates professional and respectful demeanor towards others. Demonstrates respectful verbal and written communication capability.</li>
