Job description

Hiring: Senior GCP Cloud Engineer / Kubernetes Administrator

We are looking for an experienced Senior GCP Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) administration, Kubernetes (GKE), and cloud infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing GCP environments, Kubernetes clusters, networking, and infrastructure as code, along with experience implementing secure and scalable cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Compute Engine, Storage, and Networking.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) clusters including scaling, upgrades, and security configurations.
  • Design and implement GCP Landing Zone architecture for enterprise cloud environments.
  • Configure and maintain Cloud VPN connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Implement backup and restore strategies to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Manage NetScaler Load Balancers for traffic distribution and application availability.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or GCP Deployment Manager.
  • Configure and manage GCP networking components such as VPCs, subnets, routing, firewall rules, and IAM policies.
  • Monitor system health using Cloud Monitoring and Logging, and respond to incidents.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines with GCP workloads.
  • Optimize cloud performance and cost efficiency.
