As an Enterprise Data Engineer at our client's global technology consulting and digital solutions company, located in Hyderabad, your role will involve the following responsibilities:
- Providing engineering leadership and support for existing and future data analytics technology such as Databricks, Data Factory, NiFi, Kafka, and Fluentd
- Leading technical enhancements of security platforms
- Supporting the identification, development, and implementation of new detections and analytics use cases
- Driving the evolution of automation and orchestration across the platform
- Training and developing other members of the cyber analytics team and engineering function
- Promoting a culture of continuous self-improvement among staff, ensuring up-to-date expertise within cybersecurity and technology
- Engaging with Global Businesses and Functions to enhance cybersecurity awareness globally
- Collaborating with management across Cybersecurity and IT teams to develop solutions for organizational protection
- Designing and implementing new service offerings, capability uplifts, and process improvements to safeguard against a constantly evolving threat landscape
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experiences:
- Proven experience in the technology sector
- Knowledge and experience with cloud-based data pipelines, particularly Azure data transport and data cleaning
- Automation and optimization of data engineering pipelines
- Deployment of real-time analytics for large datasets and application of data engineering in cybersecurity
- Expertise in Google Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles for large-scale cloud infrastructure
- Broad understanding of Azure services such as Identity, Networking, Compute, Storage, Web, Containers, Databases, and PowerBI
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and automation tools like Terraform, Chef, Ansible, CloudFormation, and ARM
- Familiarity with streaming platforms like Azure Event Hubs, Kafka, Spark streaming, and stream processing
- Bonus points for experience with cloud-based SIEM and SOAR technologies, as well as Azure and Databricks certifications
