As a GCP Production Support Engineer at our client, you will be responsible for providing technical support and incident management for GCP cloud infrastructure and AI-based applications. Your role will involve utilizing tools like Splunk Observability, Synthetics, and Open Telemetry to diagnose and troubleshoot issues efficiently. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities:

  • 3+ years of experience in Production Support (3rd Level Technical)
  • Experience in roles such as Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Cloud Infra Engineer
  • Proficient in monitoring tools, logs, and events for application issue diagnosis
  • Familiarity with Cloud-Native concepts, particularly GCP
  • Skilled in Incident Management, preferably using ServiceNow
  • Experience with Monitoring/Observability tools like Splunk Observability, Synthetics, and Open Telemetry
  • Ability to diagnose technical issues related to AI software and services
  • Previous experience in supporting production cloud infrastructure at scale
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication of complex technical issues
  • Motivated, proactive, and adaptable to uncertain requirements
  • Capable of supporting multiple on-call time zones

Non-mandatory, but advantageous, requirements include:

  • Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Unix/Linux networking, and operating systems
  • Proficiency in programming with Python or DevOps practices
  • Familiarity with writing Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform
