As a Cloud Engineer 3, your role involves designing, building, and operating shared cloud platform infrastructure to support product engineering teams in deploying software reliably and securely. You will work at the intersection of platform engineering, infrastructure delivery, and security compliance to drive GitOps and CI/CD best practices and enhance cloud engineering maturity.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Design, implement, and maintain platform infrastructure and tooling using Terraform and Kubernetes-native patterns
• Partner with product engineering teams to deliver scalable deployment workflows on a shared Kubernetes-based cloud platform
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies through proof of concepts and contribute to platform roadmap decisions
• Design and operate GitOps-based continuous delivery pipelines using GitHub Actions for deployment quality and security
• Define and document best practices for platform deployment, infrastructure provisioning, and operational procedures
• Drive adoption of platform capabilities and operational processes across engineering teams
• Establish engineering standards related to platform reliability, security, cost optimization, observability, and compliance
• Act as an escalation point for complex platform issues and provide technical guidance to team members
• Mentor, coach, train, and provide feedback to other team members
• *Qualifications Required:**
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or related technical field
• Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes in a production environment
• Experience with GitOps-based continuous delivery workflows using GitHub Actions
• Strong communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage projects independently
• Knowledge of cloud-native design principles and containerization
• Familiarity with security and compliance requirements in a cloud context
• General knowledge of programming languages
