QA Analyst (Automation Testing)

You will be joining our team as a QA Engineer with a focus on test automation. You should have 3 years of experience in validating software functionality, usability, and reliability through structured manual testing practices. Your responsibilities will include preparing test scenarios, executing detailed test cases, logging defects, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Playwright and k6.
• Strong programming fundamentals for hands-on scripting and problem-solving.
• Understanding business requirements and product features to define and achieve quality goals effectively.
• Executing manual tests to evaluate software usability, identify issues, errors, and bugs, and providing detailed reports to the development teams.
• Analyzing test results, reporting the impact of identified defects and usability concerns, and collaborating with development teams to coordinate bug fixes and prevent issue recurrence.
• Facilitating communication between the QA team, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure transparency in test findings and project progress.
• Managing test activities with urgency and accuracy, meeting project timelines, and aligning the testing process with project goals.
• Continuously improving testing processes, identifying opportunities to enhance quality assurance procedures, and implementing best practices in testing methodologies.
• Overseeing the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts to ensure the efficiency and reliability of automated testing procedures.

Qualifications Required:

• Proficient in analytical and logical thinking with a keen eye for detail. Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java or Typescript/Javascript is essential.
• Excellent communication and articulation skills along with strong coordination abilities with team members and stakeholders.
• Experience working productively and efficiently in an agile development environment, understanding Agile methodologies and associated processes.
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Familiarity with testing web applications, API testing, and working with databases.
• Strong understanding of Functional, Unit, Sanity, and Regression testing concepts.
