DevOps & Cloud Engineer

As a DevOps & Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the cloud systems that keep enterprise applications and client projects running smoothly. You will work closely with engineering teams to design, deploy, and maintain cloud environments with a focus on reliability, performance, and efficiency.

The role includes managing cloud infrastructure on GCP and AWS, implementing CI/CD pipelines, supporting container deployments, and optimizing cloud usage. You will contribute to automation initiatives, improve security standards, and help make software delivery faster, smoother, and more dependable.

Success in this position depends on strong cloud knowledge, infrastructure management skills, and a good understanding of DevOps best practices. The ideal candidate should be proactive, hands-on, and motivated to build scalable systems that support growth without compromising reliability or performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across GCP and AWS
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for frontend and backend applications
• Monitor system performance, uptime, availability, and cloud cost efficiency
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and related tools
• Apply security best practices across cloud infrastructure and deployment workflows
• Work with engineering leads to align infrastructure setup with project requirements
• Document infrastructure configurations and maintain clear operational runbooks

Skills required:

• Hands-on experience with GCP and AWS on real shipped projects (mandatory)
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools — GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, Jenkins, or similar
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of networking, security groups, IAM, and cloud cost management
• Experience deploying Node.js / Next.js based applications
• Clear communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
