Position Details:
- Position: Tactical Security and Patrol Guard
- Location: Belleville, ON
- Site Type: Mall
- Schedule: Morning, evening, and overnight shifts
- Hours: 40 to 44 hours per week
- Salary: $17.60 starting
Basic Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Valid Ontario G Class Driver LIcence
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Previous Security Guard experience is an asset
- Must be able to do any shifts which include Days, evenings and night shifts or rotation shifts.
- Required to stand and patrol for long periods.
- Customer Service Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Working knowledge of computer application skills
- Working Conditions
- Required to work, if necessary, various rotating shifts on short notice and be available for work in a 24x7x365 environment.
Major responsibilities include:
- Ideal entry-level position for a career in Law Enforcement
- Back-up support - respond to calls and provide support as required/needed.
- Maintain compliance with and enforce property standards, rules, and regulations in a reasonable manner
- Maintain the peace, safety, and security of all patrons, and clients on the property
- Respond to all emergency response needs such as providing first aid, missing persons, etc.
- Helping visitors and answering any questions or concerns with exceptional customer service
- Assist with Fire & Life Safety inspections
- Monitor CCTV surveillance systems
- De-escalate emergency/crisis situations
- Maintain a detailed memo book and prepare incident reports on all matters dealt with
- Obtain statements and collect information for Incident
