Role Description The Senior Captain role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Pune Division. This role is responsible for overseeing daily floor operations in the restaurant/bar, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction. The Senior Captain leads and guides service staff, coordinates table allocations, manages reservations and walk-ins, and ensures timely and accurate order delivery. The role involves close collaboration with the kitchen and bar teams, monitoring food and beverage presentation, and handling guest queries or concerns in a professional manner. Additional responsibilities include training team members, upholding hygiene and safety standards, supporting inventory control for service areas, and contributing to service schedules and shift planning.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, with experience leading service teams in a restaurant or bar setting.
• Candidates should possess a focus on Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with a track record of handling guests and resolving issues professionally.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills for effective coordination with guests, service staff, kitchen, and bar teams.
• Candidates should possess sound knowledge of Food & Beverage, including menu understanding, pairing recommendations, and service standards.
• Prior experience as a Captain or Senior Captain in a high-volume or premium hospitality environment is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in restaurant operations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and commitment to hygiene and safety protocols.
• Diploma or certification in hospitality management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
